“ Ordered and waited 10 minutes for our pizza at noon on a Saturday. There are two or three seats in this small operation to wait for your pizza, but basically this is a "get in, get out" pizza kitchen. There is no "vibe" and no place to eat there. Small parking lot. Our pizza was excellent. Light, thin, crunchy crust. Perfectly cooked. Excellent flavor and balance of cheese and sauce. No complaints there. Very good take-out pizza place. ”

“ Did you ever have pizza that was SO good, you were still eating thirds and fourths the next day? 'Cause....we just did. Ya know, I was born in NY. But I grew up in NH the majority of my childhood. And all throughout that time, as well as returning back here 3 years ago, I have never been fortunate enough to come across legit GOOD NY style pizza. Then....I happened by this place via my desperate searches on Yelp. And it became a life changing experience. What I can say about this pizza can pretty much be summed up in one word: perfection! At long last....we have found a pizzeria that gets it right. From the ultra thin crust base, to the savory, slightly spicy, tomato sauce (they even put the correct amount so as not to generate soggy slices), and brilliantly toasted cheese....*mwah* chef's kiss! These guys deserve a gold star! TWO!! I tried both pepperoni and cheese to see which I liked better and.....I never made a decision. Because I love both equally for different reasons. The cheese is EXACTLY what you'd expect from a legit NY style pizzeria. The pepperoni are plentiful, delicious, and give the pizza an extra "kick", if you're into that sort of thing. My one complaint about this establishment? The POS system is....incomplete. See, it works...if your card has tap-to-pay. Unfortunately, for SOME reason, they do not currently have Apple Pay. I know. It makes no sense to me either. Btw, I need to clarify something here. Joanie's actually has private parking as opposed to street parking (unless the parallel parking spots in the lot count). I'll have to get the Yelp "powers that be" to adjust that feature on the page. But I was really impressed with their giant pizza ovens in the back, fire a' blazin'. When you see these slices, you'll think you're getting brick oven pizza. I mean, it's damn near close. In any event, wifey and I were both very pleased and will return here for a lot more pizza take-away nights. 16 mile drive for us but....totally worth it! So, if you're a New Hampshirite who's sick of Greek style-only pizza like me (or better yet - a Chelmsford resident), this is the hot spot doing NY style pizzerias everywhere justice. I'm giving Joanie's Pizza 5 NY style cheese pies cooked to perfection out of 5. ”

We put in are order cashier told me 2 hours wait I said no problem !!! we came back and the pizza was great try it for your selfs you won't be disappointed So we was 5 mins late to pick up are pizza plus I had to stop to the store to get drinks by the time we got to my friends place 30 mins passed and it was raining all that being said !!!! The pizza was crunchy and like a post card in my hand no flop at all I can't wait to go back . Two large pizza gone next time I'll get 4 pizzas to go Dave is all ways right you would never think in a strip mall . Pizza in my favorite food since I am a kid it's fun driving far places with the family but I must say I've spoiled my children with such good pizza. Domino's won't cut it anymore. ”
“ My partner and I got three 16" New York style pizzas: classic cheese, Joanie's pepperoni, and The Truth - TASTE: 4/5 - all were solid. For me, the tastiest was The Truth w its eggplant, ricotta, and hot honey drizzle TEXTURE: 5/5 - love a light, thin, and crisp pizza. Made it so easy to eat! PRICE: 4/5 - the pizzas range from $18-22. Our subtotal came to $60 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - definitely satisfied us for lunch SERVICE: 4/5 - heard the line can get long, so we arrived at 11am on a Saturday, an hour before 12pm opening, and waited in the car. Got out to stand second in line at ~11:40am when we saw others start lining up. Joanie's opened their doors promptly at noon, we ordered at the counter, and got our pizzas less than 10min later. Staff was friendly ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - small spot w no dine-in seating, only a few chairs to wait for your order PARKING: 5/5 - smaller parking lot bc a body of water lol takes up most of the space, but still several spots at this 83 Parkhurst Rd plaza ”

“ This may be my last pizza review ever. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that pizza is my favorite food. I am a pizza snob ... no question. But at this point I see no reason to review another pie as pizza cannot possibly be made that I enjoy more than the pie at Joanie's. I could go on and on about the ingredients, artistry, service and absolute mastery of what a neighborhood pizza shop should be ... but why? My pic from today says it all ... this is my absolute favorite pizza, anywhere! It just tastes better! I know it is takeout, I get it ... and I know parking is horrible. But there is simply no better pizza anywhere for my money. I drive an hour for this pizza, and then I eat in the car ... and it is completely worth it. Just look at that pie! ”
